I like to have the create an event link in my nav bar. I have some what of an idea on how to do it but just need some help on it. so here the link under my account

    https://www.theao.net/members/thechillax/events/my-events/?action=edit

so where it says thechillax it needs to say the username of the person who clicks on it so I would need the value of username; then it should point to the right path.

So if I could get that then I should be able to link people to make events from the nav bar in theory anyways.

  • hi,

you can also use shortcode [event_form] in your pages and add it to your navbar; settings located at EM Settings > General > Event Submission Forms

To allow allow anonymous event submissions, EM Settings > General > Event Submission Forms > Allow anonymous event submissions?-yes then enable Guest Default User by assigning a user with a subscriber role.

to build that links like that you could manually generate it and use the global $bp object to grab your current user info
