Using Gleam template and most of the plugins don't work

Hello,
I’m working Gleam template. Template

My website needs to have some multimedia features like lighbox image show, or music player etc. I’ve tried Lightbox but it doesn’t work, when I click on the link it opens the image in its source address not in popup page.
Also none of the widgetkit’s features work. Plugin link

I tried many other plugins, which most of them don’t work or function correctly. But all work in when I change to default theme.

It is my first wordpress website, but I have experience using jQuery in other CMSs. So I think the problem is having different jQuery files. Because the theme already uses jQuery.
But as I.m new in WordPress, i just don’t know how to fix this problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem ?
