I have successfully implemented this plug in for 2 downloads and it seems to be working great.

Unfortunaltey, the 2 files I have set up to require emails, are also showing up on the main downloads page/directory created with Download Monitor. But they are showing up as a normal download with no need to fill out any form.

How can I had these 2 files from the main directory/download page?

    Hi jjspelman,

Thank you for using our plugin. I’m not sure what page you are talking about where you can see these files for normal download (I’m guessing something related to Download Monitor). I’m not sure where that is configured, but don’t think Email Before Download would have any control over that display.

    Thank you for replying.

I have a couple of downloads within certain pages that use your plug in. It’s great!

But I was also using a general Download Monitor page that included all downloads. The problem was that the protected downloads were also showing up on the main download page.

But I just found the solution though. I can exclude certain downloads from the main download page by using exclusions in the short code.

Thanks for a great plug in!

    Hi,

The plugin works great with shortcode.

But I wanted to use the plugin on my general Download Monitor Page link to which is in the top horizontal menu(https://kmindustrialcorp.com).

I used the shortcode in the Download page created to display the dowload files page. I can see the form to enter the name and email id, but the downloads also show up below the form.

How do I make sure that the downloads are seen only once the user enters the details?

    Thanks

    Hello
I’m using email before download to manage my files, joined with contact form and download monitor. What I’m struggling with is the following:
    – I’ve got a download page (that’s quite simple with shortcode)
    – now I would like to collect user’s data through contact form and email before download
    – finally, I would send a thank you email to the user
    any idea?
