[Plugin: S3 Video Plugin] Doesn't play on mt iPhone, iPad, etc (devices w/ no Flash) but I know

do u use jsvideo or flowplayer? try jsvideo in setting. not sure at all if that’ll fix it

Thanks for the reply. The shortcode is spitting out Flowplayer. Where can I choose jsvideo? I don’t see the option to chose it anywhere. and I thought the whole point of the plugin was to chose Flowplayer for Flash (on old browsers) and jsvideo for iPhones, etc. But I could be wrong ??

What version are you using mate? jsvideo is only available in the very last release. Flowplayer was the initial player and JSvideo support was only recently added to give people the alternative to what player they wanted their video to be displayed in.

Flowplayer should use HTML5 rather than flash as well if its available.

not to resurrect an older post, but how would one get the embed code to not automatically be flash but html5 instead for viewing on iOS devices, the way my work posts video doesnt allow for shortcodes.

Sorry Ben I am not sure I understand the issue why you cannot use shortcodes in posts? Using object embed you will always get flash as you are just using embedding a flash object directly to the page if that makes any sense?

The ability to get an object embed was originally just added to give people a quick way to post videos on pages outside of wordpress.
