    Hi,

    4 days ago, Subscribe2 worked perfectly. Today, when I published a post, I got a Server Error and I noticed that no notifications have been sent.

    When I try to send them manually (after updating from 8.3 to 8.4) I get the message “Headers too large (32768 max)” and no emails are sent.

    Can you help me please?

    Thanks!

    Ok, here’s what I found out myself: I now have well over 1500 subscribers and that seems to overwhelm the mailing system of my provider. I have resctricted the number of recipients per mail to 500, and now it seems to work.

    Maybe that helps people with the same problem!

    @farbspeil,

    Thanks for the follow up on this. I guess you are on shared hosting so RAM usage will be limited but yours must be on the low side, I’ve heard of users of the plugin have 10,000 subscribers without apparent issues.

    Hi Matt,

    I don’t know if it’s the RAM. The error message indicates that it’s a limitation of the mail server. But maybe that comes down to the admins configuring it for low RAM.

    I am thinking about upgrading anyway. So maybe this is a good reason to do so.

    Cheers and take care!
