not working

  • So, i’ve been spending my entire day trying to get my website to work with WordPress and I keep running into problems. I finally got my website to work with the index.php in the root directory, but my wp-admin was not updating the site when I’d make a new page or what not, not to mention that EVERY link I was clicking was going to the home page, not to the pages I had set up through wp-admin.

    To fix this, I tried to redirect my site to the index.php in my themes folder, only to find this:

    https://freebrowsergamelist.com/wp-content/themes/Website/index.php

    any help would be appreciated.

  • Did you try and change the directory from URL/wp to URL?

    No, I didn’t… but I’ve decided to just start from scratch with WordPress. I am sure it will be much less of a head ache than trying to get all my HTML that I had to work properly with WordPress. If I am wrong about this, let me know, lol, but I’ve been spending the better part of a few days trying to get WordPress to work with the site I built with no luck… Just keep running into problem after problem >.<
