• I’m a WordPress novice. I am using Thesis theme. Please could someone provide me with the html code format that I need to enter in the caption line of images to produce a link. I would like to be able to use caption links to give photo credits. I searched but was unable to find an answer for this question elsewhere. Thank you!

  • <a href="https://www.johns-photo-website.com" title="Johns Photo Website">Photo by John</a>

    href=”https://www.johns-photo-website.com&#8221;
    Thats the website adress
    (needed)

    title=”Johns Photo Website”
    This the link title, should be discribe (in a few words) what the link is about or where the user will be taken after he clicks on it. This is what you see while hover the link with your cursor.
    (optional, but good for seo)

    Photo by John
    This is the link text, what you will see directly in your caption

    Hope my english was good enough to help you out ??

    Thank you so much!

    Your welcome ??

    I also have the version 3.4.1, but after I save the Image with all the details, the caption no longer has the code, this part is gone:
    <a href=”https://www …..
    I only see the website title and no link appears. How to fix this? Thanks.

    @chiusure
    please post the exact code you are putting into the caption.

    it might also help if you can post a link to your site pointing to the post/page with the caption image.
