  • No, your links provided above opens up nicely. They do not redirect to the root. I visited the URLs using two browsers, tested a few links and left a comment too.

Please check your URLs and let me know.

Krisha, that’s now what I mean. Both of the URLs I posted above are accessible. What I’m saying is this:

the first URL do NOT redirect to the second one. But it actually should. For example, if we take another site’s posts as example:

    https://www.techomag.com/BLAHBLAH/7-ways-to-customize-your-twitter-follow-button/ is redirecting to
    https://www.techomag.com/7-ways-to-customize-your-twitter-follow-button/

In my case it doesn’t. I had a plugin named Transposh (translation plugin) on my blog and it created directories for each different language and enabled users to access content in that particular language by specific directories like:
    activenerds.com/de
    activenerds.com/af
    activenerds.com/nl etc.

Now i have removed this plugin. The URLs with these directories (af, nl etc. ) should redirect to the actual post URL. But it’s not like that. I’m not sure what’s wrong.

Sorry, it’s a bit confusing to me. I only checked the links in your site.
