Where do I put the code for my Favicon?

    Hey everybody! I know I must sound like a dunce but I am confused as to the instructions I am finding about where to place the code for my new Favicon.

    I am using the Color Magazine theme and the problem is my header.php file doesnt have the <header> part so now I have no idea where the code goes.

    Can anybody help me please? ??

    check that out. very simple and easy to use.

    a <header> would be in a .html file. .php files do not have to have a header or any html tags

    if you were set on inputting the favicon directly into a header though. There could be a .phtml file. I am very new to wordpress so don’t know for sure all the files it consists of, but a .phtml file will be a combination of a html and php file that should contain a <header>

    Thank you so so so much Willee! I did not really want to use a plugin because it seemed a bit unnecessary to me but oh well. I spent way too long trying to figure out where to put that code and this worked much more efficiently. ??
