Post listing in admin, menu now vertical not horizontal

    When I go to “All posts” in admin, the list of posts displays but in very deep rows. Moving the cursor over the title of a post, a menu of actions displays vertically (the reason for the deep rows). It should display horizontally.

    Any ideas how to correct this?

    I’m using a child theme of Thematic.

    The problem has been narrowed down to Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin, which is adding four additional columns to the admin All Posts display and thus forcing the action menu to be vertical, both when displaying and when not.
