[Plugin: Easy Digital Downloads] Does the Stripe add-on require an SSL certificate?

    If you are using the default PayPal Standard payment gateway, no, you do not need an SSL certificate.

    If you choose to purchase one of the add-on gateways, such as Stripe or any of the other gateways that directly process credit cards, then yes, you should have an SSL certificate.
