• Im still looking for a plug-in or hack that allows for a custom dashboard for registered users, any out there? This would be a nice feature, as I would like to control what my registered users are able to see/do.

  • you can edit the /wordpress/wp-admin/index.php file yourself and replace the existsing one, once you have removed or added whatever content you want. I did this for my site, see https://img16.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot8tr.png

Also, you should be aware that users on different levels have different possibilities in the dashboard: User_Levels

I am fully aware of users levels and thats not what im looking for, what im looking for is a guide to hacking the dashboard for registered users only. I still want to use the dashboard but want to tailor it for people who register. I am using wp with other web aps and would like to somehow itegrate them into a simple registration interface. The default dashbaord needs to be more customizable.

I’ll explain what I want..when a user logs in they will see a custom page( by custom I mean with my own logo/menu, etc) with profile, ability to write/edit thier own page, a link to upload photos through another application that I use (gallery2).

Theres got to be code out there that can redirect login user levels to a differant page?
