    I just added a new page and there is a huge box in the bottom of the page that shows a “Leave a Reply”. I tried looking at the page.php to try to disable it but im just lost.

    Can someone help me out?

  • try the dashboard settings first;

    for instance:
    dashboard – pages – all pages – quickedit below the page title – untick ‘allow comments’

    or, when you are in the ‘edit page’ page, click the ‘screen options’ tab near the top right, then tick ‘discussion’; then scroll down to below the page editor to find a discussion options field.

    if this does not work, you will need to edit page.php –
    post more information such as the name of your theme or a link to your site if you need help

    The sreen option worked! That’s why I was missing all those options when I’m editing or creating my pages because they weren’t ticked. Thanks a lot!
