Sidebar Widgets are not sticking. Help!

For some reason, when adding new widgets (e.g., Text) to the sidebar widget area, they open for .5 secs and then close down immediately with no possibility to add code or anything else. This didn’t happen before. And the current widgets are fine for adjusting/changing. Just cannot add new ones. Seems to have happened around the time of switch to v3.3.2 (although not sure). Anybody else have this problem or know of a solution? THANKS!
