[Plugin: Role Scoper] Scoped Roles cannot Upload Files as of WordPress 3.4

    We are running Role Scoper 1.3.55. We just updated WordPress to 3.4 and now none of our scoped roles can upload files, we see “Cheatin uh?” when we try. Deactivated Role Scoper, and uploading files works. We had this issue with a previous version of Role Scoper, back then it was WordPress 3.0.5 with Role Scoper 1.3.27. The issue was resolved by updating Role Scoper.

    Anyone Else seeing this? Any ideas on how to fix?

  • Foxyea, we are actually having the same problem. We are having to turn the plugin completely off on a client’s site so that users can actually upload images.

    Fixed in Role Scoper 1.3.56:

    • Fixed : Files could not be uploaded when editing roles are category-specific
    • Fixed : When post authoring capabilities are from category role, files could not be uploaded to a new post prior to saving it
