Download JW Player from the below link. Make sure Include Viral, a video sharing plugin option is unchecked.

Extract the contents and copy player.swf into cool-video-gallery/cvg-player and replace the existing one. I hope that should solve your problem.

hmmm….well the suggested download file does not contain a player.swf file – any other suggestions ?

I would like info on this too. The version must have changed in the last couple months. This version 6 doesn’t have a player.swf.

Thanks pressify. However I’m afraid I really don’t know what to do with this. I did download it (trunk_fl5_2877.zip) but I really don’t know where to put the files inside my site files. When I did it previously I just downloaded and installed it through the WordPress control panel. So I don’t know how to manually install this one. Or if I need to first uninstall the last one.

I just tried this and it did not take away the share page.

Download “player.swf” (eighth item in the list) from https://developer.longtailvideo.com/trac/browser/trunk/fl5

ftp to your wordpress folder online and go to folder /wp-content/plugins/cool-video-gallery/cvg-player and replace “player.swf” with the new one you just downloaded. Empty cache (perhaps) to make sure the new player is being loaded.
