Whats the easiest way to make a page without a sidebar using the default template? Id like to be able to edit it with in the admin area if possible. But if not, thats okay.

“Is that really the question?” he asks incredulously ?? Take out the call for the sidebar in the template and you might also want to change the class from narrowcolumn to widecolumn.

Similarly above, I removed the sidebar and built a seperate CSS call for widening the “main” div. I called my new one “static-main” since mine is being used for static pages.

Well, i like the sidebar to appear on the normal pages dealing directly with the archieve and posts. But Id like to create a sepearte line of pages where I dont have the sidebars. My banners dont fit on the page with them there.

It is relatively easy to create more and different Page templates with their own design and layout.
