    Can you log in via FTP, delete the jetpack folder from your wp-content/plugins directory, and then try reinstalling Jetpack?

    Did the same. Deleted the folder but re-installing failed so downloaded the plugin and uploaded it manually and it seems to work. Thanks. ??
