Can't see my older posts

    I’m running a website that has a blog, and I’m having trouble viewing my older posts on my blog.

    Right now, I can view 20 posts, and then when I reach the end of that I can’t see any older posts even though I know they exist. With 20 posts, the loading takes a long time, so ideally I only want five posts showing per page.

    I know how to fix that by going into the “reading” settings, but when I do that, there is no link to my older posts, which basically means that after five posts you cannot access any older ones.

    Is there any easy way to add an “older post” link at the end of my five posts on my blog?
    I tried reading some previous solutions, but they really didn’t make sense to me. I don’t really know anything about coding, and I see a bunch of coding that you have to put in, but I have no idea where I paste it or anything.

    I’m really new at this, so if someone could walk me through it would be really appreciated.

    Hi there,

    I’m just following up to see if anyone has a resolution to my problem. I’m thinking about changing themes of the website, and I’m also wondering if maybe if I changed themes, a different theme would have an “older posts” link, or an option to read previous pages on my blog so I can show just five at a time?

    I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this problem. By the end of the year I’m going to have about 100 posts or so on the blog, so I won’t be able to show them all on one page, and it would be a real shame if you just weren’t able to read past posts.

    I’m very new at this, and so far with all my research and asking people who know a bit about this stuff, I’ve found no solution. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
