I am having a hell of a time trying to get this to work. I got Seven Wonders Theme and want to use it for my portfolio. I am having an issue trying to get several portfolio pages set up for two different types of work I am trying to show. One being Software and the other being UX Work. I want to create a portfolio layout with each type of segmented work.

I currently can only figure out how to create one portfolio page. The only portfolio page seems to be one with “portfolio” as a slug. Is there a way around this? I can’t classify multiple portfolio pages by category or tag either ??

  • Hi,

To create more portfolio templates, you need to create them in your theme’s root folder. If you can see a Portfolio template as an option in the Page Editing Window, then you probably have a portfolio template already in that folder.
Locate its corresponding php file (probably page-portfolio.php or smth similar) and use it as a model for your new portfolio.
Don’t forget to change the template’s title in the commented text at the top so that you can select them from your Page Editing window.
You can use this Codex article as a guideline.

    Cheers!

    Hi again,
Sorry to insist, but it would really help other users if you could mark this thread as resolved: only the original poster (OP) can.
    Thanks!
