Multisite Setup in Test Directory

  • Warning Newbie here… I am setting up a multi-site for a company that has multiple franchises and services. Each franchise and service will be treated as a new site under the root.

    Example:
    domain.com/residential-services
    domain.com/commercial-services
    domain.com/city-state

    I am developing this in a test directory under my website. mysite.com/dev/customer/

    Once I am finish with their site I will have to move it to their server. Is this the wrong way to do this? I am worried that my links and pages will break when it is time to move the site.
