• I researched the answer to these but couldn’t find them…

    1. How do I remove the tagline (from Settings > General) on meta titles on every page? They are added to the end of every meta title like this (our meta title is LONG):

<title>All in One SEO title here | Site Title</title>

    2. Also, for every page, there’s default meta title showing on the top of the <head> secion that includes Page title | Tagline and then at the bottom of the </head> section the All in One SEO meta description shows. How do I make sure the SEs are pulling the second one or how do I remove the top one?

Thanks so much for your help with this.

  • I just spent, well too long trying to solve your #1, and my solution, which I believe is the correct solution probably will answer #2 as well.
In Admin->Settings->All in One SEO remove “| %blog_title%” from the Post Title Format field or any other field you don’t want the Site Title displayed. No more duplicate titles.
It was one of those DOH! moments for me.
