On a website I help manage, I’m using your plugin to display a page full of “progress updates” on a certain award. However, the progress bars don’t appear to be displaying entirely correctly in all browsers I’ve tested (which is a handful of them across Windows/Mac/Ubuntu). There’s an extra little grey bar then the line breaks and the progress bar appears a line below. The numeric values on the right hand side also do not look right.

In all oddity, the page looks almost perfect (other than rounded corners, obviously) in IE9 with Compatibility Mode turned on.

The page in question is: https://www.wagion.org/journey-to-excellence-progress-center/

For reference, this has persisted through both versions 0.4 and 0.5.2. We’re running Arras theme 1.5.1.2.

Is there anything we can do to make this look a bit better?

The line breaks I’ll have to check on, but a big issue that I’m seeing is that the numbers somehow ended up wrapped in <code></code> tags. Can you check and make sure (try clicking in the HTML tab) that your shortcode isn’t in any <code> tags… Also, are you using the closing shortcode tag? i.e. `[progress id=”37″][/progress] – it’s unnecessary, but if that’s causing the issue I’ll need to find a way to mitigate it.

    Hi tddewey,

Just wanted to give you an update – I finally got around to looking at my code, and indeed, removing the tags seemed to fix it. I'll have to check after and see if the code tags were something the page creator (not me) added or if it somehow automatically got inserted.

Thanks for your help, though (even if it took me three weeks to respond!).
