IE style problems. Astonishing I know.

Oh boy, start with these:

I went to blog using whatever internet explorer was new in 2010. It worked except the footer came before the blog posts.

the places i used border-radius and box-shadow aren’t showing up, the image resizes badly when enlarged, the drop down for shop and about wont drop down, the entry-meta info is supposed to be hidden, it’s a mess and every other page works just fine in IE and other browsers. Even the other pages work fine in IE. i have every css3 attribute covered with -webkit- -mox- and -o- but’s its not just css3 thats breaking.

i know it’s my job to find and fix everything and i shouldnt be making excuses and i’m probably just tired but i wish internet explorer would die.

TOTALLY agree on that…

The problem is not with those CSS things — don’t sweat those errors. It’s that your doctype must be first on the page — move the fb code, line 120 extra code, line 82 tag problem, maybe line 21 though that may be related to the doctype problem.

Those shorttag errors are probably not a big deal either…

Actually, it looks like there is a CSS code error here — which may fix it:

Don’t worry about the webkit, moz-box, etc. Those are not a problem

HOLLLYY.. I hate it when I carelessly toss something in a page and forget about it. It was that facebook snippet that for whatever DUMB reason I put in the index.php that was ruining it. Thanks for being smarter than me! I’ll check out the rest of the errors too. YOU WIN MY RESPECT AND ADMIRATION.

Yeah, actually, it seems like there are TONS of posts related to troublesome FB plug-ins or whatever. Kind of amusing as I think the whole fb obsession is a bit overblown…

Agreed. I’ve decided that fb is that last thing I’m going to sacrifice time to figure with this whole site/portfolio thing. Too much of a hassle.
