• Hi. I am building a new section of my website with WordPress and have run into an issue.

With the theme I am using right now, if you click on an image in a post, it just shows a larger version of that photo. The user then has to click the Back button (or close the new browser window the image was opened in) in order to return to the post.

I would like users to be able to click on an image in a post, then be able to “click through” all the images in that post with forward and backward navigation arrows. Some themes have this option but not the one I am using.

Is there a way to modify my theme so this option is available?

    Thanks!

  • jQuery Lightbox For Native Galleries

The best plugin. I had the same issue with my client. This plugin really resolved it easily.

    you should try it once.

let me know how it works

Unfortunately I don’t think that’ll work. It seems with those plugins I can only create one lightbox. I would like readers/viewers to be able to click on an image in an individual post, which would then enlarge the photo, but then be able to “click through” the rest of the images in that specific post.

Again, other themes I have seen have this option, but the theme I’d like to use only enlarges a photo and doesn’t have the “click through” option. I guess I’m just wondering if this is even possible with the theme I’m using.
