• Hi, I have a blog with 244 pages, and 4 pages on this site will not open up.
In my webmaster tools they come up as an error 301.
Problem is, I can’t see what is different to these page, compared to the rest.
I can update the pages in my admin area and can see them, when I go into preview changes.
I thought about deleting them and just doing them again, but a couple have comments on them, and a couple of sites have lined to them.
I am completely lost on what to do, as I can’t see what I have different to these 4 pages, compared to the rest.
Also, these pages used to be seen, as they have some Facebook likes and tweets on them. Up until a few days ago, these pages were fine and I had no 301 errors at all.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I did reset to default settings, and now none of the pages will open.
I have reset it to what it was, and now all ok, yet the same pages still don’t open.
Do you have any other suggestions.

    Thank u

I also would like to add that I did change them to
    /index.php/%postname%/
    and everything seemed fine.
I went away for a couple of days, and when I checked my site, all pages were not opening.
So, I changed back to what it was /%postname%/ and all is good, but the same 4 pages will not open.

Then Idid what you suggested esmi, but this did not work either.
