• Hi, I am getting an error below and it appears because I have added too many plugins into my WordPress site.

My website is meant to be at https://www.canvasofinnovation.com but nothing now seems to load (even the wp-admin or the website in the FTP program).

Here is the message I am getting:

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Does anyone know how to fix this in the most efficient and easiest way possible?

    Any help will be appreciated!

    Many thanks,

    Vanessa

  • Hi,

A plugin of the theme might be causing this.

Start by disabling the plugins 1 by 1 until you find the culprit. Since you do not have access to the wp-admin section, you can disable plugins by deleting their folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ folder using FTP.

Read the following if you do not know how to use FTP:
