[Plugin: Sync Facebook Events] Nothing happens

  • Hi,

    I installet Tribes The event Manager and the sync fb events plugin. I have set up the app on facebook .. checked and re-checked the appid, app secret and page uid

    when I lcick the UPDATE button I get :

    Syncronization of Events from Facebook Complete.

    in the header of the plug-in and

    Updaing all facebook events...

    in the bottom of the page but nothing else and syncronization doesn`t execute.

    I checked and the plugin gets the events from the FB with all data but it fails when inserting into the local database.
    No error mesage no nottices no nothing…

    I ve been on this for 5 days now. Any suggestions?

    I’m having the same issue. As far as I know, I’ve done everything right. I’ve filled in my app ID and Secret, and my FB page UID, yet the Events Calendar refuses to update. I want my $0 back! ??

    Also the same issue, including using the example, everything runs and I get the message that it has updated, however nothing appears in the Calendar app or on the page.

    Really hope that this gets sorted as this looks like an awesome app!

    Has there been any progress on this? I’m experiencing the same issue with the latest version of WordPress.

    Same here. Why isn’t it working? Is this a sort of promotion of Modern Tribe’s non-free plugin with the same functionality?

    From what I’ve found, there needs to be an access token, otherwise it will fail. I’m not positive if thats the issue, but it seems like the plugin is missing that. I’m having the same issue, so I hope someone on here might know how to update the plugin to include that?
