[Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] [Plugin: WP Costumer Reviews] Does not react since Theme change

  • First of all this is a great plugin!
    We recently changed our theme, our product is vacation rentals and the posts that should have reviews changed from posts to domain/rentals/posts.
    Now the Customer reviews options do no longer show up in the edit window, this is not really the problem though as the shortcode could sort it, however, while the shortcode does plant the button on the right place, nothing happens when it is clicked.
    Any help?

    Looks like it is hard to get such advice… I am already looking at alternative plugins, little choice out there though…

    Same problem here. Is there nowhere to go for help? Does the plugin need a update too?

    I have emailed the support email ([ email redacted, do not post other people’s email address here ]) but so far no reply, I also checked with the guys who made the theme, they swear it has to be an issue with the plugin. Will post if I get any updates.

    Could you please email me a link to a sample page this is happening on. It’s possible there is a javascript error on the page/theme that is causing the click event on the button to do nothing. 90% of the time the cause is another plugin or script file causes a javascript error and the browser stops executing further javascript on the page at that point.

    I did just release 2.4.5 but it should have no effect on your issue, but worth a shot.

    It turned out to be the plugin Wp-socializer, without it works fine, thanks for he hint!
