Integrate blogs?

I am running an mu site. I was wondering if it is possible when someone signups and creates a site off my page and posts a blog. Is it possible for me to thread that blog on my main page. So as I have lots of users and sites I am threading all of their blogs either by recent or popular (most comments) on my main page. If so what would this be code? A plugin and how would I go about doing this.
