• Hello

    Does anyone know how to remove the following from the Cleeng exclusive content box displayed for protected content?:
    1. The text: “This article is exclusive, use Cleeng to view it in full.”
    2. The thumbnail/image box displaying e’s
    3. The customer rating

    This is making my wordpress posts very long and I would like to remove these unused details in order to reduce the size.

    This URL shows the current website display: https://www.betgazette.co.uk/category/football-premier-league/
    As you can see, the Cleeng box takes up a fair bit of room.

    I hope this is possible?

    Thanks in advance
    Martin

  • Hi Martin,

    Hope this helps:

    1. Go to WP admin > Cleeng > Settings to manage and click on the link “Cleeng settings for WordPress “… this opens up some configuration, including a way to disable the text above the layer.

    2.You can upload your own (square) avatar using this link:
    https://cleeng.com/us/my-account/settings/submit-image/1#submit-image

    3. Customer rating is something you can’t remove easily, except by hacking the plugin.

    Let me know if you have more questions.

    Thanks Donald – brilliant.

    Regarding customer rating, do you know if the hack easy enough? I’m only looking to remove it from the display box.

    Thanks for your help
    Martin

    Well, a real dirty, but simple hack is to tell your page/template to disable the display of the whole rating block with css….

    .cleeng-rating {
    display: none;
    }

    Thanks! I’ll try it.
