How to make a Forum different than my template

  • I have a forum page on my website and I’d like to make it so when you click forum you go to a full screen of the forum. Right now if you click forum the forum opens up in my template and has the two template columns beside it making the forum page small and hard to read.

    Is there anyway to make it open in a blank white page or a page with a color background and cover more area?
