We are always on top of wordpress with updated. We have lots of security in place and use popular plugins such as WP better security, and Malware scanning tools such as Sucuri

someone is able to inject in our template footer a include style.php file, which then creates a folder /temp/ with a db file with a list of spammy domains. Hidden in our code is then hundreds of spammy URLs.

I’ve found this from our logs:
