• So I installed WordPressMU on my server without any problems. But when I tried to go to wp-login.php, I get the following error:
    ——–
    Database Tables Missing.
    The table lakeridgehs_com_-_wordpress::wp_site is missing. Delete the .htaccess file and run the installer again!
    Please check that your database contains the following tables:

    * wp_blogs
    * wp_users
    * wp_usermeta
    * wp_site
    * wp_sitemeta
    * wp_sitecategories
    ———
    I went on phpMyAdmin, to see if the tables were actually there and they were. I checked to see if the user that was specified in the wp-config.php had acess to write to those tables, and it did. I double-checked wp-config.php, and that was fine.

    Since I was able to write the tables in the first place, I don’t think its a problem with the database acess, and I know that the table is there.

    Does anyone have any ideas? Remember, I am running WordPressMU.

  • There’s really no support for WP MU here. You’ll need to post on the MU site (sorry, don’t have the addy handy….)

    “Also, if you haven’t noticed, there aren’t as many people here as at the main WP forums. In fact, I can probably count the regular posters on less than 2 hands. It’s not unusual to have to wait a couple of days or even weeks for a reply.”

    Basically I thought it would be better to look here first since there are (a) more users here and (b) for many cases, the help for WPMu and WP is the same.

    Oh and that post is what I am basically confused about… it explains Vhosts, but I don’t know what that is.

    *sigh* They aren’t even the same program. Most of us here have ZERO ZED ZILCH idea (or interest!) in a multi-user thing. It doesn’t matter what you read or heard, there’s no support here for what you’re using.
