    Reviving this necro topic… ??

It’s a good question. The intention of the plugin is to handle custom taxonomies only, and to leave categories and tags to the many other solutions out there. However, you have a point that it could be useful to display them in the same menu. The only thing putting me off is that the widget control panel itself can become unwieldy with many taxonomies and terms – especially on a laptop or other small screen device.

Anyway, I’ll seriously consider the suggestion.

    Cheers!

it would be great yeah ??

still I would suggest the possibility to combine query of multiple taxonomies…

For example I use “categories” and “location” so getting the post from specific category on specific location would be perfect…

    Cheers!

    1. For adding Categories/Tags, I’ll add a filter so that the existing get_taxonomies() $args of ‘built-in’ = false can be overriden.

    2. Multiple tax queries – I can’t see how this would work in practice, given the possible combinations of taxonomy and term which could be queried.
