Suffusion Theme questions

Hi guys, hoping you can help with a couple of quick ones on Suffusion theme. First let me say that overall this is a very cool and versatile theme! MOST of everything I needed to do went off without much difficulty at all. here’s the URL of the project I’m working on:
I just have three questions….the first is centering the navigation bar below the header – most of the usual tricks don’t seem to work with this theme. The second is the fine line border around the wrapper…usually I can get rid of this sort of thing by changing all border calls in the css to the background color…doesn’t seem to work here. Any ideas?
Lastly, there was a “blog name and description” field that put the name and description in the header. Client wanted his logo graphic in the header instead so it looked weird for the theme to re-state the name of his business. I removed the name and description text in the theme options, and that worked to remove the text but now there’s a huge gap where the text goes and I can’t figure out how to move the navigation bar up to be directly under the logo….have tried editing the header, but can’t figure out where to find the call that creates the menu and when I remove the php call the whole menu goes away…not good. wondering if anyone here has run into this and figured out a workaround?
