After upgrading to WP 3.0.3 -Dashboard half-disappeared

  • Hello,
    After upgrading my blog to v.3.0.3 I can see only the right side of my dashboard. The left side where should be blog-management menu (settings, plugins, themes etc.) is empty, nothing. I have no access to plugins,widgets, themes…
    Please help!
    Note: I upgraded since than to WP 3.3.1 but nothing has changed.

  • Most likely a plugin conflict. If you can access your site with ftp, then go in and disable plugins by renaming the folder. see if your dashboard comes back. Then change the folder name back and reactivate plugins 1 by 1.

    If that doesnt work, download a fresh copy of wordpress from www.remarpro.com and reload all files except wp-config.php.

    This was so quick and helpful answer !!
    I just renamed the whole folder ‘plugins’ and it did the trick. My dashboard is back !
    Well, now I have a work to do with one by one plugin, to check which one(s) cause problem.
    I already asked for help a few months ago but didn’t get any response.
