• Hi guys!

This is a very strange and old problem. I noticed this on earlier WP versions too.
When I watch google analytics I see that there are only a few visitors on my site at the moment and for a while. Then I visit my site and after that analytics show a huge increase in the number of visitors. After a while it happens again. So the traffic of my site is not linear, there are huge breaks in it.

It happens with W3 Total Cache and without it too.

What could be the problem? Any ideas?

• Hi,

What’s the plug-in do you use for analytics on your WordPress site ?

Fine, I’m using the same.

Do you have filed the box “Ignore users:” with “Administror” ???

No. “Ignore no-one” is selected.

So, select “Administrator”.

And you’ll see what will happen.

Like that, even if your logged in your wordpress as admin, analytics will not track your visits.

I did it and tested it in the last 50 minutes.

No visitors on my site. After I logged out WP and returned to my site visitors started to flow.

Analytics plugin works well.

The problem is that my site doesn’t load for new visitors, they can’t access it or something like that.

Did you checked that the shortcode of Analytics appears on the source code of all your web page ?
It’s stupid, but worth checking !

You should see something like that :
