Excessive usage bandwidth from spam comment bots

    I have a blog here: https://wysinnwyg.com/blog/

    and, while Google Analytics only counts about 25-30 unique visitors a day, other plugins such as StatPress and Wassup have told me that I receive about 300 daily visits and 1600 pageviews, mostly from spam bots, and Askimet blocks about 150 spam messages a day.

    This is a problem because if I don’t find a solution soon, I’m going to go over my 10GB monthly bandwidth quota, and I don’t want to have to pay more for my hosting if I can help it.

    Are there good plugins out there that help me to block the static IPs of spambots (without having to add them manually)? What else can I do?
