Date doesnt show on new post on home page

Yes you can. It sounds like your theme is using the_date() (as opposed to the_time()) to display dates on your Posts. The former only displays the date once in any one day (so the second post in the same day will not display a date) whilst the latter will always display a date on every Post.

I originally made that post to put in a category,but I decided to add it to my front page instead so it looks like Im adding new info to my site.How can I change that.I can give you my site name and you can check it out if you like thanks

Oops I forgot,I didnt post these on the same day.The previous one was dated 4/27,and the date still doesnt show.

In most sites/themes, new posts are added to your main posts page (your front page in this case?) by default. The only way around this is to edit your theme’s index.php template file and add a custom query to exclude certain posts or categories.

I have a seperate blog page with no content,which in turn all my recent posts go to that page.My front page is my home page,but I have to add to that myself.Hope I havent confused you.

So you are using a static home page? How do you “add” posts to that page?

My front page I have as my static home page,but how can I keep adding new posts too it,because thats what I want people to see first.I cant figure out how to add a new post without adding it to that same page.When I do it that way my post has no date or its not separated.
