• I’m new at this. I’ve figured out the difference between wordpress.com and .org. My question is, can I use one of .org themes for a business page and expect it to work as effectively (or even adequately) as the themes that can be bought from Studiopress and other theme providers? Also, how coe nobody seems to have phone numbers to contact companies like Studio press, wordpress, and others. It almost seems as if these sites were designed only for people who know what they’re doing and not beginners.

I don’t see why not. Unlike some commercial theme vendors, WPORG themes are subjected to a strict quality review before they are accepted. That said, StudioPress are also a reputable theme vendor.

WordPress is free software, so there is no support service for it other than these forums staffed by unpaid volunteers. If you want commercial level support, then you will need to consider hiring someone.

Sure, you can use any themes in .org for business. But there is no support, so you should have a skilled ability to edit the theme to fit your needs.

That’s right, it’s a little problem most of the commercial suppliers need the customers to have a basic skills of how to setup a WP themes. But some of the suppliers also have the service to install the themes for you. I think this may help you.
