  • The page elements all seem to be ~ 960 pixels wide so no problem there. The element containing “Trials Experience Course – Ballarat – 7:45am – 12:45pm” is 30% wide – if you increase that the text will look better because it won’t wrap

    It’s in events.css on line 421

    Hi Nick,

thanks for the feedback, I adjusted the nav link elements and they now display well without wrapping, unfortunately the page still seems to wide and this looks to be causing issues with the footer columns. Footer column 1 has been pushed into column 3?

Another possible solution would be to remove the single event view page all together – is this possible. For this site its not really important for the event to be clickalbe from the calendar view – just displaying them on the calendar is enough. How could i disable the link to the single event page?

    Thanks
    Ross.

I think you need a “clear” before the footer – something is messing up the columns. My CSS isn’t good enough to be definitive here

I am having a similar issue. All my info and sidebar is formatted all the way left.
Here’s an example. My CSS is poor at best as well.
    Any suggestions?

Hey folks! Thanks for the notes on this issue, and apologies to each of you for the delayed response. I’m 1/2 the support team for Modern Tribe and I’ve been out on vacation the past week, so we’ve been backlogged in addressing the open source forums.

Thanks for the help so far, Nick. Supacustom: did his feedback point you in the right direction, or are you still having issues?

Theography: thanks for the link. Have you tried going to Settings -> The Events Calendar and switching to a different templating option from the dropdown there? The plugin comes with two of its own, and your theme may have some as well. Try playing around with those to see if any integrate smoother…if you’re still having problems from there let us know and we’ll try to assist.
