JJ NextGen JQuery Carousel – Lightbox effect with PHP

  • I’m using JJ NextGen JQuery Carousel and jQuery Colorbox. If I use it in a page, the gallery and lightbox effect are working just fine. But when I put the shortcode in footer.php, the images link directly to a blank page.

    <?php echo do_shortcode('[jj-ngg-jquery-carousel html_id="about-slider" gallery="1" width="227" height="156" visible="4" wrap="null" start="1" order="sortorder" center="1" scroll="4" animation="slow" gap="16"]'); ?>

    Anyone know how to solve this?

    Activate jQuery Colorbox and select

    Automate jQuery Colorbox for all images in pages, posts and galleries:

    – don’t forget to add the actual image url in the Alt or Title tag of the iamge in the Gallery
