Templatic Market Theme – Review

    I just wanted to share my review on the Market theme by Templatic. Overall the theme has great features or more than shopping carts out there that don′t even include a website theme. If you buy a theme from them, it includes a built-in cart with good features. However, as with the majority of other carts, this one also only let′s you assign a global tax rate by State. I had a good experience with their support foruma and ticket submission, so no complaints on that. However, the final straw was that when I tested my store as if I was a customer, during the checkout process, you see basically empty fields in which the customer has to guess where he/she writes the name, address, and even email! How raw is that! Yeah, even I had trouble with it! I was like, hum…I guess the name goes in the empty field one and two and the email goes in the 4 an also in the 5th line. No name tags in the fields! Seriously! So I dropped the theme and searching for a new cart. This is unacceptable.

    The theme looks good in the front but don′t expect miracles in the back-end. Not workth it. Save your money.

    As feedback, it would be great for you to choose subtle, friendly, formal words with the forum users such as:

    “Templatic is an external company, although WordPress users can install these and other external company templates, they are not supported by WordPress. Therefore, we recommend forum users to post reviews or support questions about these themes in other sites” ?? .If you need help with plugins….that′s what we′re here for ??

    I have to say, that kind word usage goes a long way. I kinda felt that the tone was harsh ( “Post your reviews about that on your own blog, not here…”!) That sentence sounded significantly reprimanding.

    On the other hand, sorry for the mistake and I apologize for the inconvenience. I recommend erasing this and all the other posts related to Templatic that currently exist. Hum…users should be able to erase their resolved or irrelevant issues from their profile. I don′t see the option here.
