• Hello,

I would like the “Home Page” to display One Specific Post/Content/Article on that Page and have each Post or Article to be displayed on it’s own page, without the page scrolling down the page displaying every Article one after another –

I think I set one of the options that I found to Only Display 1 Article (per page), but when I added a second test Article, “IT” became the Top Article, and the one I wanted by itself on the Home Page was displaying down the page below it…

The Newly added Article even replaced the existing Article that I wanted to display, in the Menu Section (Recent Posts) –

Is there any way to Have ONLY One Article Displayed on a page at a time? Is there any way to control the Order of the Posts in the Menu? And, Control which Article is Displayed on the Home Page?

    Thank You!

  • Posts are displayed on your site in reverse order (ie newest first) by default. So your newest post will always be on your front page unless you reverse the default order using a custom query in your theme’s index.php template file.

    Thanks… so I can’t do that…

Is there a way to limit ONLY 1 Article or Post per page?

    so I can’t do that

Tes – you can do that if you add a custom query to your theme’s index.php template file.

Yes. See Settings -> Reading -> Blog pages show at most
