[Plugin: DNUI Delete not used image] Idea for delete uploaded images from /upload folder

  • Hello again great programmer!

    I give you a new and good idea, i think.
    I have a lot of images that uploaded directly to the catalog /uploads (without date, as /uploads/2011/03)

    Can you make a new function to check these pictures too?

    Example: i was uploaded a 10 pictures into /uploads and put URL (<img src=) into my posts.

    After 3 years I removed all the old posts, but the pictures was not deleted.

    Can you do that ?

    well the original plugin did that, the problem was the logic for update the database went you delete the image, but i can put the logic again for see the image direct in the server.
    At this moment the plugin only shows image from the database.

    But you only would delete the image, not update the database, so if only for search image like a ftp

    Thanx for answer (I sold the site to which the above was a problem), but now I have a new idea:

    example
    0. I want to post 10 photos.
    1. I open a new post and upload 10 photos via intermal media-uploader.
    2. WordPress makes for me a small pictures (add 10×3 with different sizes)
    3. I write a post and put FIRST image as BIG preview (with no link to large size).
    4. Inside in my post i use a gallery to show for visitor ALL OF 10 pictures. Like as: [gallery link="file" columns="2"]
    5. Your plugin found as “used” only FIRST image but all of 9 images as NOT USED (and i can delete it).

    But crap is here: plugin can delete all of 9 PREVIEWS images, but itis used in GALLERY!

    Ok, i was reading about the shortcode gallery, but is a little complex implement that in the actual code of the plugin but i going to do test today, if you see one update is because i find the solution.
