[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Remove related posts on certain post types

Is there any way to disable related posts when a certain post type (or even category) is used.

We make use of a liveblogging platform, and the related posts plugin posts a list of related content after each live blog update. You can see an example of this here: https://thelincolnite.co.uk/2012/03/live-low-carbon-lincoln-conference/

Any advice on how to stop this?
