After inserting an image into a post, then attempting to edit it using the small image edit icon, I receive a “not found” error. I have never seen this before. I tried deactivating all of the plugins, which had no effect. Any ideas would be helpful!

Here’s a quick video of the process and the error:

  • I had the exact problem. It was an .htaccess code that caused it. updated that and it was fixed.

I tried messing with the htaccess files, leaving only the normal WordPress info, but nothing fixed the error. The error actually reads “I really need an ID for this to work” now (this happened prior to messing with the htaccess). I’ve tried deactivating plugins and switching themes, but neither fixed the issue. Any other ideas?
