How to get rid of upload videos?

  • Hello again support team,

    I have recently uploaded 2 music videos which I don’t need anymore.
    How can I get rid of those. When I open my post, I go to the “add media”
    icon on the top and go to my “media library”. However I see the 2 files
    which I want to delete, but I can’t see any buttons to execute this. Could you please help me out.

  • Hi Whitelight.

    I’m no expert but I think I may have an answer for you. If you go to Media>Library, you should see a list of all your media files. If the files you require to delete are not on that page check the next page.

    Once you have found the files you wish to delete, there should be a little tick box to the left hand side of each file. Click on this box and a tick should appear denoting that file is selected.

    If you then scroll down to the bottom of tha page, (or up to the top), you should see a drop down box under the tick box column with the words ‘Balk Actions’. Clicking on this drop down list will reveal ‘Delete Permanently’ Choose this option and click ‘apply’ next to the drop down box and your files are gone.

    Be careful. ANY FILE WITH A TICK IN THE BOX NEXT TO IT WILL BE REMOVED.
