• Problem: I’ve found a great plugin (no need to name and shame) but it has a very unprofessional icon and plugin name that is obviously evident in the admin area of WordPress.

I would like to be able to rename the plugin in the admin menu & plugin’s admin page in order for it to appear more professional to the client, when they are logged in to the back of WordPress.

Reference: I’ve found articles to do this for default menu sections of WordPress (Eg Renaming ‘Posts’ to ‘Articles’). See an example script here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4340266/change-menu-items-labels-in-wordpress-admin-area

Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work for a plugin. Any ideas?
